Of course! In fact, we love meeting artists in person before we start working together. If you contact us in advance via WhatsApp, phone or the form, we will arrange a visit to show you the facilities, give you a tour of the studio and chat calmly about your project.
We want you to feel at home and get to know our space and team with no commitment, cost or obligation to hire us. Come and see us and discover where your next music will come to life.
Yes, of course. If you only have a demo or loose ideas, you can hire our complete music production service.
We take care of turning your ideas into a complete, professional track. To make the process as efficient as possible, we need you to bring:
Our producer will work side by side with you to shape the sound of the project. In addition, if your song needs real instruments (drums, bass, guitars, etc.), we can put you in touch with our network of professional session musicians in Barcelona. Please note that hiring external session musicians involves an additional cost on top of the base production budget.
Yes, we reserve that right, although it rarely happens. At Vocal Studio BCN we get 100% involved in every project and we want the result to be excellent; for that reason, we may decline a proposal if we consider it technically unfeasible, if the material or preparation does not reach the minimum required, or if we believe the artist still needs to consolidate their foundations before recording with a real chance of success. We always prefer honesty from day one over committing to a standard that does not meet our quality requirements.
Very often. We regularly work with artists from outside the city and from other countries.
Distance is no problem when there is a clear artistic vision. Some clients hire our production, mixing or mastering services online without needing to come in person, sending us their materials and collaborating remotely. Other artists travel to our studio in Barcelona only for the in-person recording sessions and complete the rest of the process remotely. Whatever your case, we adapt to your location so the project flows smoothly.
At Vocal Studio BCN we have removed the pressure of the clock. We do not charge by the hour, because our goal is to guarantee the highest technical quality without you having to worry about the time while recording. We work with closed, customised service packs based on the real needs of your project.
With a fixed, competitive price you can work with peace of mind, taking the time needed to get that perfect take or that detail in the production, with no surprise costs. Every project is unique, so we invite you to contact us so we can look at your case and offer you a tailor-made quote with no obligation.
Yes. Often an artist believes they need a specific service or pack, but after analysing the project we find that the best solution is a different one. Listening to your music beforehand — or getting to know your proposal in depth — allows us to advise you properly and design the work plan that truly fits your goals and needs.
Even if you prefer not to send us material beforehand, we like to ask you a few key questions to understand your artistic vision before finalising any quote. We want to make sure we offer you exactly what your musical project needs to shine.
Don't worry at all; we fully understand that the first time can feel intimidating. That is why at Vocal Studio BCN we have prepared specific informative PDFs with everything you need to know before coming to record, with detailed guides for both singers and instrumentalists.
In them you will find practical advice on how to prepare your songs, look after your voice and get it ready to make the most of your hours in the studio. Download your guide and come along with complete peace of mind!
Download the guide for singers →Yes, you can bring someone, but ideally you should avoid bringing friends or family. Their presence tends to be distracting and, in many cases, adds unnecessary pressure on the artist during the recording.
If you decide to bring someone, we recommend it be only:
Our goal is to maintain a focused, comfortable, distraction-free working environment so you can get the most out of your voice and your time in the studio.
At Vocal Studio BCN flexibility is total. You can bring your own musicians if you already have a trusted team; our professional production service is designed to integrate the recording of external instrumentation seamlessly into your project.
If, on the other hand, you need musicians, we have a wide network of professional session musicians in Barcelona with whom we regularly collaborate to guarantee high-quality results. Please note that if you require additional session musicians, hiring them and paying for their services will be handled separately from the studio's base budget.
We work with classic high-end equipment, proven in the industry and aimed at achieving a professional sound with character.
Since our setup includes a carefully chosen selection of preamps, microphones, interfaces and instruments available for sessions, you can see the full, detailed list of our studio's hardware and software on our equipment page.
We do not set a rigid number of revisions, because our goal is for the final result to be exactly what you are looking for. It is usual for a production to go through 2 to 5 adjustment phases and for a mix to go through 2 to 3.
We understand that communication is key: if the work stalls, we prefer you to come to the studio in person so we can solve it together and move forward effectively. Please note that if, during the process, you request changes or elements that were not covered in the initial agreement, we may apply an additional charge for the extra work. That is why it is essential to have a clear vision of the project from the start to avoid unnecessary deviations.
The delivery time depends on the complexity of each project and the number of revisions requested. However, our workflow is agile and efficient: the producer usually delivers a first version within a maximum of 2 to 5 working days. The same delivery commitment applies to the mixing and mastering services.
Our goal is to guarantee a professional result that meets your expectations. So, if your project has specific needs or tight delivery deadlines, talk to us when starting the work and we will organise ourselves to meet your dates.
Our usual studio hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 22:00.
We understand that the creative process does not always follow a conventional schedule, so for special requests or sessions outside these hours we can arrange it with the team in advance. In addition, for space rental we offer availability throughout the whole week with fully flexible hours, subject to negotiation according to your project's needs.
We work hand in hand with you throughout the whole process to avoid surprises. Since productions and mixes go through different review phases in which you give your approval, it is very unlikely to end up unhappy.
That said, the success of a project is teamwork. The client has the responsibility to be honest, give real and constructive feedback at every stage, come prepared from home, and understand that the producer does not work magic: a good result starts from a solid foundation and clear communication.
If something still doesn't fit, we analyse what is going wrong in order to fix it and make sure the final result reflects exactly what you had in mind. Our priority is that you leave the studio 100% proud of your music.
